CIP’s practical activities constitute an essential building brick supporting all of our operations, and are the foundation enabling our Capital contribution. We know that without interacting with the real-life business activities for which they are designed, it is impossible to generate the leading-edge theory, tools and people equipped and adapted for the intellectualized economy. Through our practical activities we shape and improve our tools and educations, while at the same time concretely acting to create the structures that will allow those business activities to evolve.

CIP’s practical activities are divided into four primary fields of operation:

•   Venture Creation

•   University innovation system support
Through CIP Professional Services and the student driven ICM Advice CIP is providing advice to researchers and technology start-ups in the university innovation system. CIP Professional Services also provides advice on how to design and set-up the sophisticated platforms needed for efficient technology transfer and open innovation.

•   Business consulting
CIP’s international business consulting firm CIP Professional Services operationally supports businesses of all sizes to facilitate and create knowledge-based business.

•    Venture Capital and ownership governance
Via CIP’s venture capital fund CSE Incubation AB CIP is actively managing a portfolio of early-stage technology start-ups, while providing office space, business development support, ownership governance, and capital for our pre-incubator projects.
