First of all, we would like to thank you – our guests and participants! Hopefully you have enjoyed your visit to Göteborg and we look forward to meet you all many more times as the community for knowledge-based business evolves. We would also like to thank our development partners and sponsors for making CIP FORUM 2009 possible and for supporting the Future of Innovation. Western Sweden will continue to be an important node for the knowledge economy, which we hope that you will continue to be an integrated part of also in the future.
However, CIP FORUM does not end here – CIP FORUM is more than an event. By gathering stakeholders from academia, industry and the public sector around the Future of Innovation, we are collectively building a community around knowledge-based business. A community of stakeholders in building a new infrastructure adapted to knowledge-based business. CIP FORUM continues through its participants as the community of knowledge-based business transforms into smaller groups and gatherings, boardroom- and coffee shop discussions, phone calls and e-mails, online forums and communities, international and multi-organizational collaborations and beyond.
The aim of CIP FORUM 2009 has been to provide you with an increased understanding of the existing challenges in the Future of Innovation and to discuss new perspectives on knowledgebased business. Our hope is that CIP FORUM has stimulated and encouraged you to build new networks and collaborations in order to face the existing and upcoming challenges of the knowledge economy. As the challenges are many, the community for knowledge-based business has a responsibility beyond this event – the Future of Innovation is ours to shape!
